We are a small operation located in North Central Montana, right outside of Great Falls. Historically, quarter horses and the Western discipline have been more popular in this area, but the community and culture is incredibly welcoming and curious. English disciplines are becoming more and more popular throughout the area and as time goes on, the beautiful thoroughbreds introduced to the area are helping change the perception. Trotty By Nature is committed to showing our horses as much as possible as they transition into their new lives. this includes everything from trailing cattle across the open prairies to schooling dressage in a beautiful outdoor arena on the side of a butte.
Trotty’s home arena, The King’s Arena, offers an indoor and outdoor arena as well as pens, stalls, and some seasonal turnout. As tough as we like to think we are… the option of an indoor arena for the Montana winter is truly a necessity! Trotty partners with its home arena to offer small, low key events and endeavors to support local clubs and statewide associations in their efforts to promote equine sports.
